Our Story

Over fifty years ago, Ardelle Glaze, a former research scientist, founded Fort Wayne Metals Research Products Corp. to produce wire for the medical device industry.

Alongside his wife Theresa, Ardelle built a business that continues to grow decades after their passing. One of Fort Wayne Metals’ key values has been to support the communities it is part of. It has contributed millions of dollars to charitable causes over the past five decades.

In 2021, the Glaze family established a new foundation to honor Ardelle and his wife Theresa Glaze, and to create an even greater positive impact.
