Ardelle Glaze founded Fort Wayne Metals in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1970. The Northeast region of Indiana is where Fort Wayne Metals’ philanthropic impact started. This area is made up of Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley counties.

County Mayo, Ireland
Fort Wayne Metals opened its first international facility in Castlebar Ireland in 2002. The Ardelle and Theresa Glaze Foundation was able to award our first international grant in County Mayo in late 2023.

Ohio’s Wayne and Seneca Counties
Fort Wayne Metals acquired Filmtec in Fostoria, Ohio in 2016 and G&S Bar and Wire in Wooster, Ohio in 2018. This expanded the Fort Wayne Metals family to team members in Ohio’s Wayne and Seneca counties.
